Project: Call of Duty Jackal Cockpit

We had two weeks to build a real life size space ship, what? We did it!! The advertisement agency for Call of Duty commercial asked us to make a jackal cockpit for the new release computer game "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare”.

I was provided a low poly textured mesh model which was used in the game engine, and then created a detailed and engineered 3D model in Rhino. The ship was divided into exterior and interior with a stainless steel structure supporting underneath the ship. I was the lead designer for the structure and interiors parts. I worked closely with our welders and I designed a steel structure to hold the entire ship and a ply wood structure to support the deck and interior.

While the welding team was building the structure, I developed the 3D model of the deck and engine cap showing details. To be able to put LED lights inside of the deck onsite, the deck and engine cap needed to be removable and to be accessible. The parts I designed are specific for CNC milling and vacuum forming. After the digital work I performed, I joined the fabrication team to work on screen and dials and other details.

We made it in two weeks, from design to delivery.

There's a soldier in all of us!
